How I Work

Whatever challenges you are facing, I provide a comfortable, confidential space, which is safe and non-judgemental. I believe that empathy, realness and respect are the bedrock of effective therapy. I often work with clients to re-engage with the part of themselves that is loving, passionate and purposeful, a part that is often hidden away, or feels suffocated, supporting them to re-engage with life in a confident and often transformative way.

Whatever brings you to therapy — anxiety, low mood, feeling stuck — my particular interest is in what sits underneath it: the patterns of addiction, codependency and self-esteem, or the unrecognised neurodivergence, that so often generate the struggles on the surface. We can absolutely work with the symptoms; the reason change lasts is that we also work with their source.

As an integrative therapist, I use various techniques and approaches to best suit your unique needs and preferences - this may involve developing mindfulness practices, exploring childhood relationships (psychodynamic), examining present-day thought and behaviour patterns (cognitive behavioural), along with creative methods like visualisations and art/drawing.

Therapy with me also adapts to how you're wired. If you're autistic, have ADHD or are otherwise neurodivergent, the way we work adjusts — pacing, communication style, structure, processing time, sensory needs — because some struggles are related to load and brain wiring rather than anything needing fixing.
